Our Story
The Art of the Second Life
Where luxury archives meet an "Always Say Yes" spirit.
INUA didn't begin in a boardroom; it began with a daring "yes." When high-end designers in the US offered to donate their exquisite surplus fabrics, Partners for Care didn't have a full plan—but we had a mission. We said yes to the heavy canvases, the silks, and the velvets that the world had forgotten.

One "Yes" can change everything.
The heart of INUA is a partnership of a group of women who believed that surplus was actually a doorway to opportunity. They didn't just ship fabric; they built a bridge.
The Designer Hand-Off
It starts in the U.S as surplus to the interior design industry. Premium bolts of commercial-grade high-end textiles originally produced for interior applications.
The "Always Say Yes" Philosophy
Our organization was built on a single, daring motto: Always Say Yes. When the first collection of fabric was offered, we didn't have a factory or a formal plan. We just chose to see the potential.
The Kenya Impact
Materials travels to our factory in Kenya. The project is lead by Lucy Kahiu, the director of sustainability for PFC assisted by Moses Mbaluka, technical consultant, International Trade Center by the United Nations.
Where the money goes
All profits will be directed to Kenya to change lives.
Overhead
Every dollar of profit flows directly to programs on the ground — nothing is absorbed along the way.
Kenyan-Led
The work is led on the ground by Kenyan makers and program directors — the people closest to the need shape where support goes.
Changing Lives
Profits fund safe water, mobility carts, bed nets, and skills development across communities in East Africa.
The Second Life
The story you can carry.
This is where the "yes" becomes something you can hold. Each silhouette begins as rescued fabric and ends as a working piece — and every one of them funds a specific cause on the ground in Kenya.
