The Art of the Second Life
Where luxury archives meet an "Always Say Yes" spirit.
INUA didn't begin in a boardroom; it began with a daring "yes." When high-end designers in the US offered to donate their exquisite surplus fabrics, Connie didn't have a full plan—but she had a mission. She said yes to the heavy canvases, the silks, and the velvets that the world had forgotten.
One "Yes" can change everything.
The heart of INUA is a partnership of a group of women who believed that surplus was actually a doorway to opportunity. They didn't just ship fabric; they built a bridge.
The Designer Hand-Off
It starts in the U.S as surplus to the interior design industry. Premium bolts of commercial-grade high-end textiles originally produced for interior applications.
The "Always Say Yes" Philosophy
Our organization was built on a single, daring motto: Always Say Yes. When the first collection of fabric was offered, we didn’t have a factory or a formal plan. We just chose to see the potential.
The Kenya Impact
Materials travels to our factory in Kenya. The project is lead by Lucy Kahiu. The director of sustainability for PFC. Guided by Moses who was trained by the United Nation in establishing.

Swahili for to lift or to elevate. This is our heartbeat: elevating forgotten textiles through precise craft and lifting the communities we serve through intentional, unique partnership. Every bag moves us all closer to a world where nothing—and no one—is left behind.
